TE QUEREMOS, CAROL

Nuestros amigos Jan y familia nos han escrito desde Carolina del Norte, para darnos la mala noticia de que Carol, una de las primeras galgas que dimos en adopción, nos ha dejado. Carol es una de las galgas que se explotaba en al canodromo Pabellon de Plaza España en Barcelona y que tras su cierre, con el unico plan de sacrificar 250 galgos, nos animó a luchar por los galgos y fundar SOS Galgos. Sentimos muchos que nos dejes pero a la vez nos alegramos de saber que has tenido una vida muy feliz como un miembro más de la familia Seawell, igual que los más de 1000 galgos que en estos años han tenido la suerte de encontrar familias generosas que les diesen la oportunidad de olvidar el maltrato que sufren los galgos en España.

Dear Anna and Albert,

I regret to inform you that we very sadly had to euthanize Carol today. She was 15 years old and was a beloved member of our family. She had a liver mass and had become very, very sick, so although it broke our hearts to let her go, we did not want her to continue to suffer . I have attached a picture of her with her companion greyhound, Skeet Shoot (Skeet passed away three years ago at the age of 12 due to a splenic tumor). In recent years, she had two french bulldogs to keep her young!

We are so grateful to both of you for allowing us to have her in our lives. Thank you for all that you do to facilitate loving homes for these wonderful dogs.
